A quick introduction to the Coachlink's Affiliate Program

There are two different types of affiliates. Those that will earn $100 a month in referral fees and those that will earn over $1000 a month in referral fees.

This is due to the fact that the average affiliate will only add a few banners to their website and hope the revenue will start to roll in. The top affiliate will endorse CoachLink and sell CoachLink every chance they get!

Use the menu in the upper right to navigate through this section of our web site. We have tried to include everything you need to get started with our program.

We also strongly recommend you make a coach request or join the CoachLink Trust Seal Program if you are a professional coach. Not only will it help you in your own marketing, but it 's important to know how we work so that you can market our services effectively and without misrepresentation.

Please remember: Promoting CoachLink via unsolicited email is strictly prohibited.

*If you are thinking of promoting us by sending out unsolicited email please don't do itt: We will find out and not only will you be taken off our affiliate program but you will also lose all of your referral fees.

  Getting Started is Extremely Easy!

Advertise in your site. All our banners and logos can be found in Affiliate Support Center. Sign in to go there. Not an Affiliate yet? Sign-up.

Make sure that you test your links. Click through once and then check your stats to see that the clickthrough has been registered. There is an intelligent tracking mechanism in place however, so it will not pick up multiple clickthroughs from you.

How To Link to the CoachLink Web Site

When you receive your referal partner link code, this code is ready to paste into your existing webpage.

Standard referral links to our site

Remember to use the special URL we have given you. A Normal text link will look like this:

<a href="http://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/aftrack.asp?afid=XXXX"> Text you choose to use goes here</a>

(Where XXXX is your own affiliate ID)

When visitors follow your link above they will be redirected to the "Entrance" page of the CoachLink site. From this moment, the affiliate link will be aware that the visitor using our site came from you.

Redirecting to a page of your choice

You are able to choose the entrance page on our site. Maybe you would like to direct visitors to a particular product page, or you could even add several links each one directed to a different product page in order to generate more sales and earn more comissions. The redirecting link would look like this:

<a href="http://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/aftrack.asp?afid=XXXX
&redirect=http://www.CoachLink.com/anypage.php">Text you choose to use goes here</a>

(Where XXXX is your own affiliate ID)

Linking the Buttons or Banners to the CoachLink site

CoachLink offers a variety of images/buttons, and banners for use as your referral link.

Once you have found the graphic. You will need to download the image to a temporary directory. To do this follow these guidlines:

1. Place your mouse pointer over the image you wish to use
2. Click the right mouse button
3. From the drop down menu, select "save image as..."
4. From explorer window point to the folder you wish to save to.
5. Select "okay" this will save the image file.
6. Add the code to your page and link information (see below)

Lets take this button as an example:

Follow the steps above to save to your directory.

Now..
In order to add an image to your page, you must write an Image Tag. The HTML code will look like this: <IMG src="your image" alt="your keyword or image name" border=0 height=40 width=200>

However using an HTML editor such as dreamweaver will allow you to do this automatically, with a command like :insert image.

To add a link to this image, your tag would look like this:

<a href="http://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/aftrack.asp?afid=XXXX"> <IMG src="your image" alt="your keyword or image name" border=0 height=40 width=200></a>

This will use your image (such as buttons or banners etc.) to link to our site via your affiliate URL.

Once you have put together the code, the last step is to upload the updated page and graphic you are using.
